I didn't manage to get much riding in over the last month. I did the last of the winter series races at Pukete, huffing and puffing my way around 3 laps of the track in a bit under and hour. Then the following weekend (last weekend) I was lucky enough to get across to Rotorua for the day.
Andrew looked after Oliver, and I drove to Vegas to meet some friends for a ride. We rode a bit and talked A LOT! It was a good balance in the end... we were out for about 3 hours and probably only rode for about half that time!!! I enjoyed it, but would have liked to ride a bit more. At least the cycle computer hit double digits - my heart rate was through the roof. I'm a bit rusty with the skills, so I'm looking forward to getting back out there again.
Andrew had a pretty good day looking after Oliver; they went shopping for big screen TV's - typical boys!
