Catching up

It's been a long time since I wrote anything here. I've been trying to understand why that is. I still have the passion for riding, the love of all things bicycle, but the past 6 months or so have seen me sharing less of what I've been up to.

Life has revolved around the family; work, school, and family events have dominated and these are not the things I tend to want to blog about.  Not that any of those things are boring, it's just not what excites me. Blogging is an escape and a way for me to relive and remember those good experiences that really spin my wheels.

I've been spinning my wheels a bit over that time, too.  For 2012 I decided not to do any events, just to ride when I wanted, where I wanted and with whom I wanted (although I did do some events).  I will share some of those experiences here over the next few months as I catch up on things.

For 2013, I have a few events lined up for the summer and will hopefully find some events to keep me active over the winter.  And then I might start to feel like I've caught up.
