I took some time out to check out the Urban 4X being run as part of the Rev120 cycle festival in Hamilton. It was being held on my old hucking ground... the Waikato Uni. We used to do urban rides up there once a week, jumping down stairs, ramps, banks, or anything else we could find, whilst trying to avoid being nabbed by security. Fun times. I knew a few of the people racing, so decided to head along with my camera and take in some of the action. It was a miserable drizzly day, and I spent the whole time there wishing I was riding. It was a great event, and I hope I can be part of it next year.

Busy bees
We have been busy bees in the last month. Andrew and I have both been busy at work, and we seem to have managed to fit in a few other things around that too. Like riding my bike...
I decided to take full advantage of Go By Bike Day. Despite working at home, I rode in to Civic Plaza with Andrew in the morning, got my free breakfast, hung around and chatted to some friends, then rode back home to start work. Well worth it. I should do some pointless commutes more often!
